Lakshmi, Manager – Product Development
Dr. Shankaran has around 18 years of overall industry experience. He has been intimately involved in the Training/Learning domain and related technologies. He has been working on state-of-the-art learning systems, and brings invaluable knowledge and insight into theories of learning as well as the practical implementation of them.
Shankar has been a member of standards committees concerning the broader learning field. He has also contributed significantly to the development of Sakai Project (www.sakaiproject.org), an open source academic collaborative learning platform.
Shankar completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, and double MS from Universities of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and California, Berkeley, before he went on to do his PhD from UC Berkeley.
Shankar has two daughters and is based in California, USA. He has received formal training in playing the Tabala (a percussion instrument in Indian classical music) and has a keen interest in Indian classical music.
Sukumar S, Co-founder and President
Sukumar has a total of 14 years experience in various capacities before he ventured out to co-found Astutix Learning. His last role was with Infosys Technologies where he headed the Corporate Planning department and also built a consulting practice from scratch. His areas of expertise include measurement & analytics, process analysis & re-engineering, and strategic competency mapping & development. Having lead the internal implementation of Balanced Scorecard at Infosys, and as part of the consulting practice he later set-up, Sukumar has worked with senior management teams of many large corporates across the world on their measurement and management processes.
Sukumar has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, and has done his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B).
He has a daughter and a son and is based in Bangalore, India. He has a keen interest in Indian Classical music and Indian Philosophy.
Jaiganesh, AVP & Head-Delivery
Jaiganesh has over 9 years of experience in Software Services and e-Learning domain. He is very well experienced in Project Delivery and Management. Prior to joining Astutix, he worked as a Project Manager for a successful startup. He has extensive exposure and experience in managing multi-functional teams. In his role as Head of Delivery at Astutix, Jai leads the delivery for all clients.
His interests include web design, user experience and social media marketing. He also possesses an advanced knowledge of Web marketing and Search Engine Optimization techniques. He has a double post graduation - MSc and M.E. from BITS, Pilani.
Jai has a daughter and is based in Bangalore, India.
S. Mohan Raja, Lead Visualizer
Mohan has 11 years of experience, of which around 6 years has been in the e-learning area. He has experience designing and managing delivery of e-learning courseware, user interfaces for corporate intranets, enterprise portals, web applications, thick clients, mobile devices and personal consumer electronics in domains such as banking, retail, healthcare and entertainment. He believes in following an integrated design process and methodology that addresses both the technological and human aspects of product and user experience design. He believes that his aim is to create concepts that help make communication easier and more professional so that the impact of the overall story is enhanced.
As a visualizer, Mohan is very enthusiastic about developing concepts into graphics. He is very passionate about the communication of ideas through high-impact design solutions. A critical aspect of his work and deliverables includes his unique creative approach, personal attention to detail and his desire to provide the highest e-learning experience.
Mohan has a daughter and is based in Bangalore, India.
Lakshmi, Manager – Product Development
Lakshmi has over 5 yrs experience in IT services and e-learning. She has a command over the SCORM standards and its evolution. She has lead multiple projects in domains as diverse as embedded systems, enterprise applications, and e-learning.
She has a holistic technology perspective and strong problem solving skills. She is an Electronics and Communication Engineer from Visveswaraya Technical University, Bangalore.
Lakshmi has a son and is based out of Bangalore, India.
Victor, Production Manager
Victor has around 6 yrs of experience. He has done his B.Com and then shifted his profile into Multimedia and Animation. Previously, he worked for Sudiksha Learning Dimensions as Multimedia Lead and Project Manager, taking care of all projects, including client interface. He has worked with quite a few NGO clients like APF, EDC, BMST, UNDP.
He has a very good knowledge and experience in Flash and can deliver work at high speed and good quality. Victor manages the Production team at Astutix and is known for delivering high quality work in stringent timelines.
